The Williams-Franklin Foundation, established in 2014 by Howard University alumni Dwight and LaShelle Franklin, supports students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Its mission is to provide academic scholarships, mentoring, and professional networking opportunities to talented students facing significant financial challenges. By investing in education, the foundation aims to change the life trajectories of these scholars, fostering a new generation of leaders ready to make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.
As a Williams-Franklin Foundation scholarship recipient, you are expected to actively participate in the Foundation's programming, which includes professional development, leadership skills training, and networking opportunities. Your engagement in these activities is essential for fostering personal growth and building meaningful connections within our community. Additionally, we expect you to attend events and activities organized by the Foundation and to respond promptly to emails and requests for information. This commitment ensures a positive and impactful experience for you and the Foundation as we strive to support your academic and professional journey.
We hope you join the WFF family! Together, we’ll celebrate your journey, champion your dreams, and work hand in hand to help you achieve your goals. We’re so excited to have you as part of our legacy of love and service.
